Novacharge Services:
NovaCharge enables a smart charging infrastructure for plug-in vehicles by providing a seamless, scalable, reliable and cost-effective solution from Coulomb Technologies called the ChargePoint System.  Together, we are committed to providing an exceptional user experience for the owner’s of plug-in vehicles.

NovaCharge provides sales, installation, commissioning and support for the ChargePoint System thoughout our exclusive service area.  Together with our network of Coulomb Technologies co-partner channels we can offer these services around the world.  Through our growing network of re-sellers and installation partners, NovaCharge can deliver the critical services necessary to ensure the deployment of a high quality EV infrastructure for Government, Private Enterprise, and Electric Utility customers throughout our service area.

NovaCharge can also work with customers to enable their preferred electrical contractor to provide installation by assisting them with the training and support necessary to certify them as a NovaCharge Authorized Installer. Regardless of whether customers chose to have a NovaCharge partner handle the rough-in installation, or have this done by their preferred contractor, NovaCharge will assist customers with the necessary site survey, system design, and the system commissioning for the ChargePoint Network.

NovaCharge also offers maintenance agreements designed to complement the Coulomb Technologies factory warranty so that customers can continue to protect their investment for years to come.

The Charge Point System:
 The ChargePoint System enables the owner of a Smartlet Charging Station to provide a high quality charging enperience for EV owners.  A ChargePoint enabled charging station uses wireless networking technology to allow EV owners who subscribe to the ChargePoint Network to roam freely to any and all Charging Stations anywhere in the system, regardless of who may own the Charging Station.  Charging Station owners can monitor their investments remotely, and deliver a safe, high quality charging experience, while generating revenue.  

Smartlet Charging Stations:
The Coulomb Technologies Smartlet Charging Station family is designed for municipalities, corporations, and private parking lot owners who wish to provide convenient charging locations that produce an income flow. These rugged, aesthetically pleasing stations provide a reliable way for consumers to charge their vehicles anywhere they park.  They perform bi-directional energy metering and enable the utilities to monitor and control services for optimal grid use.   The units use wireless LAN technology to communicate with the data center, and integrate with GPS directory services and OnStar allowing drivers to find stations while traveling.  Integrated RFID reader recognizes and identifies the subscriber and allows the “auto-lock” door to open for charging.

                     

Smartlet Communications Network:
Smarlets are connected via a highly reliable wireless meshed network system employing 802.15.4 and GSM/GPRS technology to communicate with the Network Operating System.  The communications network allows drivers to charge at any public charging station regardless of which Host owns it.  The network enables drivers to locate stations and, just as important, reveal which stations are not currently occupied.  The network allows flexibility in subscription plans, from pay-as-you-go to unlimited style plans.
